Plus II Student Killed By Lightning In Kendrapara

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old youth died after being struck by lightning in Deulatara village under Rajkanika block in Kendrapara district.

The deceased has been identified as Anshuman Sutar, son of Kailash Chandra Sutar. The incident occurred when Anshuman, a Plus II student, was standing in front of his house after taking a bath. Suddenly, lightning struck him, causing him to fall to the ground severely injured.

Family members immediately rushed him to the Rajkanika Community Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Anshuman’s untimely death has plunged the entire family and the village into deep mourning.
