Bhubaneswar: Police on Monday busted a sex racket operating from a hotel under the Itamati police station limits in Nayagarh district and arrested one woman in connection with the case.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police officers, under the supervision of the Nayagarh SDPO, conducted a raid at the hotel. During the operation, the woman was taken into custody, and the Itamati police registered a case related to the incident.
“Police have booked one person so far and the investigation is ongoing. We are also looking into whether any other individuals were involved,” said Subash Chandra Panda, Additional SP, Nayagarh.
The accused will be forwarded to the court today and the investigation is ongoing.
