Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow to be held in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
PM Modi will hold a road show on Janpath road from Matser Canteen to Vani Vihar on Friday. To ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic, the Commissionerate police has made certain restrictions on the movement of vehicles on the route.
The following restrictions are imposed on Janpath road in Bhubaneswar for the convenience of general public. As per the advisory issued by the police—
- No vehicles are allowed to ply on the Janpath road i.e. from Master Canteen to Vani Vihar on Friday (10.05.2024) from 2 PM till the end of the roadshow.
- No vehicles are allowed to ply on the Janpath road i.e. from Vani Vihar to Master Canteen on Friday (10.05.2024) from 4 PM till the end of roadshow.
- Vehicles coming from lane / by lane are not allowed to avail the Janpath road from either side of Janpath from Master Canteen to Vani Vihar on the above date and time.
Police requested the public to plan their route accordingly.
PM Modi is all set to hold a road show in Bhubaneswar on May 10. Police have beefed up security for the mega event.
