Bhubaneswar: Odia film actor Prakruti Mishra today filed a defamation suit of Rs 5.1 crore against actor Tanmay (Babushaan) Mohanty’s wife Trupti Satpathy and her father Lalit Sathpathy.
The case relates to Trupti attacking Mishra in full public view on July 23 in Bhubaneswar.
Mishra’s lawyer, Byomakesh Tripathy informed that even YouTube has been made a party in the case in order to remove all the videos on the platform that are defaming Prakruti.
The actor had yesterday moved the Orissa High Court in connection with the case. She alleged no action has been taken by Kharvela Nagar Police though a month has passed since the attack and the filing of a complaint against Trupti and her father.
