Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Odisha on a three-day official visit to Odisha on Monday by an Air Force special helicopter. After reaching Baripada in the Mayurbhanj district, she drove off to the Circuit House.
Later in the day, the President will attend a conference and literary festival organised by the Santali Writers’ Association at Sahid Smruti Bhawan in Baripada town on Monday. The President will also inaugurate the Ekalavya model residential school at Kuliana of Mayurbhanj today.
The President will grace a programme to launch a skill development center in Khililpur, Safarghar. Later, she will visit SLS School and then launch the Rairangpur Sub Divisional Post Office following its upgradation.
The first citizen of the country will then travel to Rairangpur by train and then visit Burla in Sambalpur at 1.20 pm on November 21 and inaugurate three express trains. She will travel from Badampahad to Rairangpur by train.
On November 22, the President will attend a programme at Prajapita Brahma Kumari’s Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. She will subsequently leave from Jharsuguda Airport to Delhi on the morning of November 22.
