Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday greeted citizens on the occasion of Diwali. In a communiqué, President Murmu said, “Let’s celebrate the festival of lights safely and take pledge for nation building by contributing to the conservation of environment”.
In her message, the President said, “On the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens living in India and abroad.”
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wrote on his X handle, “Greetings to all the brothers and sisters of the state on the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights. May the light of development illuminate the lives of all.”
