Bhubaneswar: Governor of Odisha and Chancellor of state universities, Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday appointed Prof Asima Sahu as the In-Charge Vice-Chancellor of Berhampur University.
Prof Sahu will hold the additional charge while continuing in her current role at Khallikote Unitary University.
According to an official notification, the appointment has been made under the provisions of Sub-section (10) of Section 6 of the Odisha Universities Act, 1989.
Her tenure takes immediate effect and will remain in force for a period of six months, or until a regular Vice-Chancellor is appointed, or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
