Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the Puri-Rairangpur-Badampahar Express via Kendujhar, Sukinda, Kataka and Bhubaneswar, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the people of the state.
In a post on X, Majhi said the new train service would strengthen rail connectivity across Puri, Khordha, Kataka, Jajpur, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj districts, providing greater convenience to passengers and opening up new opportunities for the people of Odisha.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for approving the service, highlighting its significance in improving connectivity across several districts of the state.
