Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Thursday issued a yellow warning, forecasting light to moderate rainfall at a few places in four Odisha districts over the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 4.20 pm on September 3, rainfall is likely in Khordha, including Bhubaneswar city, Kataka, including Kataka city, Puri and Jagatsinghpur.
The weather office advised people in the affected areas to remain alert to changing weather conditions and plan their activities accordingly in view of the possibility of worsening conditions.
The warning will remain in effect for the three-hour period following its issuance.
