Bhubaneswar: In view of the continuing heavy rains triggered by the deep depression, the Nabarangpur district administration has extended the closure of schools for another day.
As per the decision of the District Collector, all schools and Anganwadi centres in the district will remain closed tomorrow as well.
The decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of students, officials said.
Earlier, the administration had declared holidays for schools and Anganwadi centres till today. However, as the rain situation has not improved, the holiday period has been extended by one more day.
