Bhubaneswar: With the South-West monsoon active over Odisha, the State has been experiencing rain in several parts of the State for the last three days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most parts of the State for the next five days.
While light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over all districts of the State during the next 24 hours, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over 12 districts.
The districts are Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for these districts.
Besides, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over north Odisha and its neighbourhood around Monday (July 4), the IMD has said.

Day-1 (valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 02.07.2022).
Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and many places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): 1. Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Koraput, Nawarangpur Kalahandi. 2. Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha.
Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.07.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 03.07.2022).
Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and at many places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): 1. Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak.
