Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a stunning six-foot sand sculpture of Thiruvalluvar on Puri Beach to pay tribute to the universal poet on Thiruvalluvar Day.
He shared his creation on social media, writing, “A humble tribute to the universal poet Thiruvalluvar on #ThiruvalluvarDay through my sand art at Puri Beach, Odisha.”
The sculpture featured a book with Thiruvalluvar’s figure and the words ‘Tribute to Thiruvalluvar’.
Pattnaik expressed his sentiment, saying, “On the occasion of Thiruvalluvar Day, we created a sand sculpture of Thiruvalluvar approximately 6 feet high to pay our tribute. Every year, we use sand art to honour Thiruvalluvar.”
