The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar Sabat, who was working at the SBI Lanjigarh branch.

According to reports, Dilip was travelling on the Bhubaneswar–Junagarh Express train. He reportedly fell asleep when the train halted at Ambodala station and woke up late.
