Bhubaneswar: The Bhadrak district administration on Wednesday extended the prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in Apanda Chhak (Orali Chhak) for another 72 hours and the prohibitory orders will remain in effect in the area till 11.00 am on April 21.
The prohibitory order has been imposed in the area after a clash broke out between two groups over a boundary dispute between villages in Keonjhar and Bhadrak.
Following the group clash, the district administration initially promulgated Section 144 CrPC in Apanda Chhak (Orali Chhak), and in an area of 200-meter radius of the chhak from 11.00 am, April 16, to 11.00, am, April 18.
The IIC of Bonth police station has been directed to promulgate the order and take necessary and immediate steps to disperse the mob that created disturbance over the spot and initiate legal action against those persons.
