Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has transferred senior IPS officer Dayal Gangwar from his current position as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Communication, Cuttack and posted him as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Home Department with immediate effect.
Home Department issued an order today issued under the signature of Additional Secretary Trilochan Majhi.
Dayal Gangwar belongs to the 1998 batch of the Indian Police Service (RR-1998). He has been shifted to the state Home Department in a key administrative role.
This is seen as a significant bureaucratic reshuffle in the state police administration.
