Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre, assigning new responsibilities to two senior police officers.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, 2009 batch IPS officer Akhileshwar Singh, presently serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Special Intelligence Wing (SIW), has been given the additional charge of DIG, South Western Range (SWR), Koraput.
In another notification, 2010 batch IPS officer Kanwar Vishal Singh, who was serving as DIG, South Western Range (SWR), Koraput, has been appointed as DIG, Special Task Force (STF), Bhubaneswar.
