Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain closed for public darshan from 10:30 PM on Saturday (June 27) in view of the upcoming Snana Yatra rituals of Lord Jagannath and His divine siblings.
According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the Snana Yatra of Mahaprabhu will be observed on Monday (June 29) on the auspicious occasion of Jyestha Shukla Purnima. In preparation for the sacred bathing ceremony and associated rituals at the Shree Mandira, the temple administration has decided to temporarily suspend public entry.
Darshan will remain suspended from 10:30 PM on Saturday to facilitate necessary ritual arrangements and preparations ahead of the Snana Yatra. The restriction will continue until the completion of the preparatory rituals, after which devotees will be allowed darshan as per the scheduled timings.
