Bhubaneswar: Hours after resigning from BJP, Sonali Sahoo made a homecoming by re-joining Congress at the party state headquarters Congress Bhawan.
The former BJP spokesperson joined the Congress in the presence of PCC president Sarat Pattnayak and other senior leaders at the party office.
“I again came back to my own family,” Sahoo said after joining the party.
Earlier in the day, Sonali tendered her resignation from the primary membership of BJP. She sent her resignation letter to state BJP president Manmohan Samal. She alleged that BJP failed to work sincerely for the empowerment of women.

In 2019, Sonali had quit Congress and embraced the saffron party.
