Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Legislative Assembly will convene a special meeting on April 30 to discuss the participation of women in Indian democracy. Assembly Secretary has issued a notification informing all members of the House about the session.
The special discussion aims to deliberate on women’s role and representation in democratic processes.
The move comes amid ongoing national debate over women’s political participation following the defeat of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
