Jharsuguda: A speeding truck caught fire after meeting with an accident on NH 49 near Kumudapalli under Town Police station in Jharsuguda district on Thursday evening.
The truck lost control over the wheel and rolled down on the road for around 100 metres before catching fire.
The driver and helper are suspected to be inside the vehicle during the mishap.
The fire services unit reached the spot and doused the flame. Police also reached the scene and launched an inquiry into the circumstances that led to the mishap.
It is still not confirmed whether the driver and the helper are inside the truck.
