Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is gearing up to launch the Subhadra Yojana, a financial assistance scheme, on September 17 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the program and distribute Subhadra cards to the beneficiaries.
A meeting of the Subhadra Yojana State Level Management Committee, chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, was held to review the progress of work and ensure smooth execution of the program. Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development Department, Shubha Sharma, presented an update on preparations.
The meeting discussed various aspects, including venue preparation, parking, traffic management, transportation, pass distribution, and media management. The Chief Secretary emphasized the need for coordination and cooperation among sub-committees for the successful conduct of the state-level gathering.
The application process for Subhadra Yojana will begin on September 4, with the collection of filled forms from applicants. The meeting ensured that necessary steps were taken to facilitate a smooth application process.
The first instalment of financial assistance will be disbursed to beneficiaries on September 17, marking a significant milestone in the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana.
