State Planning Board Met Last In 2007: Govt

Bhubaneswar: The State Planning Board meeting was convened for the last time on October 15, 2007 under the chairmanship of its chairman and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Replying to a query of BJP’s Kusum Tete, Planning & Convergence Minister Rajendra Dholakia today informed the State Assembly that no vice-chairman has been nominated to the State Planning Board
Prasanna Patasani and Dr Ramesh Chandra Chyaupatnaik are working in the Board in the rank of a Cabinet Minister while Sadhu Nepak is working ain the rank of a State Minister.
The State government is bearing the expense towards their remuneration and allowance, vehicle and other expenses of these members, the minister said.
