Student Dies, Friend Injured In Accident During Saraswati Puja

Bhubaneswar: A tragic incident took place during Saraswati Puja in Birmaharajpur of Subarnapur district. A student lost his life in an accident while coming to school for Saraswati Puja.

The accident occurred when a bike hit an electric pole at Metakani Chowk under Birmaharajpur police station. The deceased student is Kris Mahakud of Chauka village.

Another student is seriously injured in the accident. He has been shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

After the accident, police reached the spot and started an investigation.
