Bhubaneswar: Three minors—one boy and two girls—went missing within the last three days, with two cases reported in the past 24 hours alone in the State Capital. The Commissionerate Police have launched an intensive search and appealed to the public for assistance.
The missing minors include 12-year-old Pradhyumna Pradhan, last seen on March 3 near Dhauli Hill. He is a Class 6 student and reportedly left home without informing his family. The two minor girls are from Saliasahi area: Sumitra Dehury from Tarini Nagar, Saliasahi, and Subhasree Nayak (also referred to as Shubhashree Nayak) from the Hatiasuni area of Saliasahi.
Both girls reportedly left their homes without notice and have not returned. The Bhubaneswar police have issued posters featuring their photographs and shared them widely on social media, urging citizens to share the information. A total reward of Rs 50,000 has been announced for credible information leading to their safe recovery—Rs 25,000 each for the girls and Rs 25,000 for the boy.
Police have sought public cooperation, asking anyone with information to contact the control room or helplines immediately. Authorities suspect the minors may have left voluntarily but are treating the cases seriously amid concerns over child safety in urban areas. The police emphasized that every share matters in locating the children quickly.
