Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 13 districts of Odisha.
As per the yellow warning (Be Aware) issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, light to moderate rain with lightning and thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over 13 districts.
These are Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Puri, Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar City), Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Nayagarh during the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety, said the Duty Officer, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
