Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday issued a stern warning to leaders from his home constituency Hinjili, saying those indulging in anti-party activities and causing mischief are under watch.
“I know everything. There are some people in Sheragada of Ganjam in Hinjili constituency who are causing trouble and mischief. The troublemakers are in the loop and they will face action at the right time,” Patnaik said.
However, he did not clarify who the troublemakers are, triggering intense speculation within the party. The remarks were made at Naveen Niwas when hundreds of party leaders and workers from Hinjili visited him on Wednesday.
While addressing them, Naveen reprimanded leaders involved in indiscipline and anti-party activities and warned of strict action. He also advised leaders and workers to work hard for the people keeping in view the upcoming Panchayat elections.
