Two Killed, Two Injured As Motorcycle Plunges Into River In Nuapada

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, two youths died and two others were injured critically when their motorcycle plunged into a river in Komana area of Nuapada district on Thursday morning.

The deceased are Shobharam Hans (Babeghati village) and Harichandra Patel (Hatisara village). Injured Ranjit Hans and Bhagabat Majhi (both from Babeghati) are currently undergoing treatment at Komna Health centre.

The youths were returning from Tarabod village after enjoying Dhanu Jatra festival.  While heading towards Hatisara village to drop Harichandra Patel, the motorcycle reportedly lost control near the Hatisara–Tarabod bridge and fell into the water body.
