Malkangiri: In a tragic incident, two minor boys died after coming into contact with a live wire in Undurukunda village under Kalimela police station limits of Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Chandan Madiami and Manga Madi of the village.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the two boys were climbing a tree in the village. They were electrocuted by a live wire hanging in the tree.
The villagers rushed the boys to the Kalimela health center where the doctor attending to them declared the boys “brought dead”.
A pall of gloom descended on the village and adjoining areas as the news of the incident spread.
