Berhampur: Two persons from Ganjam district of Odisha, who had gone to work as migrant labourers in Kerala, reportedly died after a wall collapsed on them on Wednesday.
The deceased persons have been identified as Sushant Nayak of Ekalpur and Shankar Nayak of Kusangadia. They worked as labourers in Kerala to earn more money to support their families.
At around 9 am on Wednesday, when they were working in an under-construction house, a wall suddenly collapsed on them. As a result, both of them died on the spot.
The local police and fire department reached the spot, recovered the dead body, and informed the family. After getting the information, the family members requested the district administration to bring their dead bodies.
