Bhubaneswar: Two Plus II students drowned while bathing in a reservoir at Lalsingh village under Bhanjanagar police limits in Ganjam district on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Kanha Pradhan and Ashutos Bhuinya, both residents of Lalsingh village and students of Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja Junior College, Bhanjanagar.

According to reports, Kanha, Ashutos, and four other youths from the locality had gone to a reservoir near the Beleswar temple in the afternoon for bathing. The two students reportedly ventured into deeper water and went missing shortly thereafter.
