Bhubaneswar: Two students were killed when the bike they were riding collided head-on with a private bus near Kandajam under Ramanaguda police limits in Rayagada district.
The victims, both Plus II first-year students, were on their way to attend exams when the accident occurred.
The deceased students have been identified as Vishnu Sabar (19) from Tombaguda village and Debendra Sabar (18) from Saura Sahi.
One student died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries at the Ramanaguda Community Health Centre.
Meanwhile, police have begun an investigation into it.
