Kalahandi: An unidentified body was found floating in a sub-miner canal near Bijamara panchayat in Kalahandi district.
According to reports, the body was spotted by locals who subsequently informed Kalampur police.
Upon being informed, Kutu police outpost officer Asit Kumar Panda reached the scene and retrieved the body. An unnatural death case and conducted an inquest.
The deceased, believed to be mentally disturbed, remains unidentified, and the body has been sent to the District Headquarters Hospital for preservation. Panda is looking after case.
