Koraput: Joint Secretary in the Department of Civil Aviation Usha Padhee has praised the Koraput district administration.
Padhee who is also in charge of the NITI Aayog identified aspirational district of Koraput has expressed satisfaction that the district administration is working in the right direction with regard to the implementation of plans and programmes especially, in the fields of education, health, agriculture, coffee cultivation, livelihood and empowerment of women through Mission Shakti.
After conducting a review meeting, Padhee said that she will raise the requirements of the district with the NITI Aayog.
She said that earlier she had worked as the Collector of Koraput district and visiting Koraput makes her feel like homecoming.
Padhee visited the Sabar Sri Kshetra Jagannath temple. It’s not just a temple but a symbol of cultural practice, she added.
