Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance has so far unearthed properties worth over Rs 3.39 crore during house search of Sunil Kumar Panda, Chief Engineer-cum-Chief Electrical Inspector, Sambalpur.
During house searches Vigilance have detected assets worth over Rs 3.39 crore so far which includes one 3BHK flat at Green Park Residency Sambalpur; two plots in Ainthapalli in Sambalpur; one shop booked in Grand Bazar Bhubaneswar; one plot booked with Assotech Builders Bhubaneswar; bank deposits worth over Rs 32.04 lakh; insurance deposits worth 19.80 lakh; investments of over Rs 16.28 lakh in Mutual Funds; one four-wheeler, one two-wheeler; and household articles, gold ornaments, cash, and other movable and immovable properties, said an official press note.
As further searches are underway, more assets are likely to be detected.
Four teams of the Vigilance led by 2 DSsP, 9 Inspectors, 2 ASIs and other staff conducted the searches in four places in the districts of Sambalpur and Khordha on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
