Bhubaneswar: Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday seized an illegal sawmill and 30.43 cft of valuable timber in two separate raids having a combined worth around Rs 12 lakh at Urada village under Govindpur police limits in Cuttack district on Wednesday.
According to an official press release, the sawmill was operating without a valid license. In total, seized value of sawmill accessories and valuable timber stands at Rs.11, 91, 094.
Further investigation in the matter is underway.
