Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials today unearthed assets worth rupees crores during house search of Kandarpa Pradhan, Additional Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation Circle, KBK, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district, said an official press release.
The anti-graft agency conducted simultaneous house searches on the properties of Pradhan following allegations of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During searches so far, the following movable and immovable assets have been unearthed in the name of Pradhan and his family members.
1) One 3BHK and two 2BHK flats in Bhubaneswar, 2) Two single-storeyed buildings at Angul, 3) 5 Plots in and around Angul Town, (The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above flats/ buildings, and plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing) and 4) Bank and deposits are under verification.
Further searches are continuing, the press release added.
