VSSUT Student Found Dead Under PC Bridge In Sambalpur, Family Alleges Murder

Bhubaneswar: A student of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla has been found dead under mysterious circumstances.

According to reports, the body of Anjaneya Das, a final-year mechanical engineering student, was recovered from under the Power Canal (PC) Bridge near the campus on Tuesday morning. Das, a resident of Jajpur district, left his hostel Pulastiya around 2 am and didn’t return.

To everyone’s surprise, Das was found lying under the bridge with multiple injuries on his body. He was rushed to Burla Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Upon receiving the news, the police reached the scene and initiated a thorough investigation.

The circumstances surrounding Das’ death are shrouded in mystery, with his family suspecting foul play and claiming that he was murdered.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the university community, raising concerns about student safety and security on campus.
