Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has issued a Nowcast Warning for 10 districts of Odisha for the next three hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning, light to moderate rain, and wind speed reaching 40 to 50 kmph is very likely at one or two places over Sundargarh, Boudh, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balangir, and Koraput.
The Weather Officer has advised people to keep a watch on weather conditions for any worsening. Residents in the affected districts should be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from thunderstorm and lightning strikes.
The alert will remain in effect for the next three hours from the time of issue.
