Bhubaneswar: Minimum temperatures (night temperatures) are plunging rapidly across Odisha with the onset of winter. Several places in the state experienced minimum temperatures of below 10°C in the last 24 hours intensifying the winter chills.

Udaygiri in Khandamal district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 7.2°C in Odisha during the last 24 hours, while the mercury plunged sharply in several other places too.
