Woman Body Found In Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger Train At Kantabanji Station

Bhubaneswar: A woman’s body was found in a disabled coach of the Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger train at Kantabanji railway station in Bolangir district. The identity of the deceased remains unknown.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case of death and launched an investigation. According to reports, the train guard informed the station master about the body. Later the GRP recovered the body and notified the railway hospital. After a medical examination, the doctor confirmed the woman’s death.

Witnesses suggest that the deceased woman was seen begging, but the exact circumstances leading to her death are still unclear. Railway officials have not yet commented on the incident. As the investigation continues, police are investigating to determine the cause of death and identify the deceased.
