Keonjhar: A woman allegedly crushed her husband to death with a stone in Kashibeda village under Ghatgaon police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Sunaram Munda.
According to reports, Sunaram came in a drunken state and beat up his third wife Sukumati Munda. Later, Sunaram went to a nearby field and slept there. An angered Sukumati reached the field and crushed her husband’s head with a stone killing him while he was sleeping.
Sunaram’s second wife rushed him to the Patna Group Health Center in a critical condition. However, the doctors of the hospital pronounced Sunaram ‘brought dead’. On being informed, police reached the hospital and seized the body. The police have launched an investigation into the gory incident.
