Bhubaneswar: Three youths died after the motorcycle they were travelling in collided head-on with a speeding container truck near PN College on the National Highway in Khordha late on Tuesday night.
According to eyewitnesses, the youths were riding the bike on the wrong route and were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident, which may have contributed to the severity of their injuries.
The victims are believed to be residents of the Delanga area in Puri, but their identities have not been confirmed yet. The Industrial Police have taken custody of the container truck and detained the driver for further investigation.
Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine the exact cause and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
