Youth Jumps Into Mahanadi River From Mundali Bridge, Search On

Bhubaneswar: A tragic incident unfolded at the Mundali Bridge in Cuttack, Odisha, where a youth identified as Shaktikanta Sahu jumped into the Mahanadi River.

Shaktikanta, a resident of Nayapalli in Bhubaneswar, reportedly left his vehicle on the bridge before taking the extreme step. According to reports, he had run away from home in anger after a family dispute.

The Barang Police and Fire Department have launched a search operation to locate Shaktikanta. His family members are present at the scene, anxiously awaiting any news.

The reason behind his actions is yet to be ascertained. The search operation continues.
