Youth Killed By Train While Making Social Media Reels In Odisha

Soro: A young man was knocked down and killed by an express train while making a social media reel on the railway track near Sabira railway station in Balasore district on Monday.

The deceased youth has been identified as Akshay Patra of Banitia village in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, Akshay along with five friends were making reels for social media on the railway track near Sabira railway station today afternoon. Neelachal Express coming from behind on the same track knocked down Akshay killing him on the spot.

However, his friends managed to flee the spot after the tragic accident.

On being informed, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel reached the spot and seized the body.

Akshay was a dancer and performed in a jatra troupe (opera troupe). He had come to perform in a jatra show and before that had gone to shoot reels along with his friends.
