Bhawanipatna: In a gruesome incident, a youth was killed after he was run over by a speeding truck near Bhawanipatna Municipal Street in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified a Sunil Panda of Charbahal village in the district.
According to reports, Sunil had gone to the local market on his scooter this morning. While returning home a speeding truck rammed against his vehicle. As he dropped on the road the truck ran over the youth killing him on the spot.
The driver of the truck has surrendered at the local Town police station.
