Balasore: A nine-year-old girl drowned in a pond at Dalanga village in Khaira block here on Monday. The deceased, Kaisalya Behera was a student of Std 3.
According to her parents, Kaisalya went missing from 10 am on Monday. After a frantic search, her body was found floating in a pond in the village today morning.
The local police have registered a case of unnatural death and sent the body for autopsy.
