Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths have launched raids at six locations linked to Jitendra Kumar Jena, PEO, Bancho Gram Panchayat under Hatadihi Block in Keonjhar district, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA).
The searches are being conducted at various locations in Keonjhar district, including his residential building, market complex, rented godowns, an electronics shop, his paternal house, and office.
The searches are being led by four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), eight inspectors, and other supporting staff, with search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge of Keonjhar.
The locations being searched include a triple-storied residential building at Biranchipur, Mareigaon, Hatadihi; a newly constructed double-storeyed market complex at Jagannathpur mouza, Basantia Bazar; two rented godowns of Maa Saraswati Sales at Basantia Bazar, Hatadihi; his electronics shop ‘Saraswati Sales’ at Bidyadharpur; his paternal house at village Padhiaripalli, Hatadihi; and his office at Bancho GP under Hatadihi Block in Keonjhar.
The search is currently in progress, and further reports are expected to follow.
