Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati celebrated the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram at a function held at New Abhishek Hall of Lok Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. The event was organised in the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, a vision initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The occasion highlighted the rich cultural heritage and unique contributions of both states, reinforcing the bonds that unite the nation and strive towards a Viksit Bharat.
The Governor extended warm greetings and best wishes for continued peace and prosperity to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Taking to his X handle, Odisha Governor wrote: “Celebrated the Foundation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram at New Abhishek Hall, Lok Bhavan, Bhubaneswar, in the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Arunachal Pradesh, India’s 24th state, was formed on February 20, 1987, and is notably the first region in India to receive sunlight. Known as the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’, and located in the northeastern part of the country, Arunachal Pradesh shares international borders with Bhutan, China, and Myanmar.
Arunachal Pradesh Foundation Day 2026 highlights the state’s strategic importance, cultural diversity, and journey from a Union Territory to full statehood.
