Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Monday modified the transfer order of two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, leading to changes in their postings as Superintendents of Police (SP) in Khordha and Nayagarh districts.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Government of Odisha, the earlier transfer order dated May 23, 2026, has been partially revised vide Notification No. 18081.
As per the revised order, Parmar Smit Parshottamdas (2013 batch), who was serving as SP, CID Crime Branch (CB), Odisha and was earlier posted to Nayagarh, will now assume charge as SP, Khordha.
In another change, Suvendu Kumar Patra (2019 batch), who was serving as SP, Ganjam and was earlier posted to Khordha, has now been shifted and appointed as SP, Nayagarh.
The notification stated that the revised postings supersede the earlier order issued vide Notification No. 18056/IPS dated May 23, 2026.
