Kataka: A 22-year-old youth went missing while bathing in the Taladanda Canal in Odisha’s Kataka city, prompting a search operation by police, fire services and the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF).
The missing youth, identified as Aditya Panda, was residing with his family in a rented house in the Bidyadharpur area.
Following information about the incident, personnel from the CRRI police station, Chauliaganj fire brigade and ODRAF launched a search operation at the spot. The teams searched the area for around two hours but failed to trace the youth.
Efforts to locate him are continuing.
